Newborns change so quickly, their facial expressions alter so much from those first few weeks. This is a time that cannot be recaptured, which is why its so precious to record those special moments professionally. If you are having a newborn shoot, I will work at your baby's pace, this could be 1 hour or it could be up to 4 hours. I will patiently work with you until we get what we are after.
Newborn sessions take the longest of any session. We'll sit around waiting for the baby to calm down, or simply go to sleep, or perhaps take a few breaks for the baby to be fed. For newborn pictures in "the hands,” the earlier and younger they are the better. I recommend with in the first ten days of life, while they are still in their "curled up" state. The younger your baby is, the easier it is for him to sleep through all the repositioning. Newborns and babies photograph best in their birthday suits. Hats are a great accessory, and can add personality. It is a good idea to schedule your session while you are still pregnant.
These sessions are in studio or it can be arranged to come to your place for them at no extra charge, unless out of Grand Junction.
I ask for payment in full on the day of the session.
